Stewart Burnett, born and raised in West Vancouver, BC. Worked all over the province in journalism and now stationed in the Northwest Territories.

My name is Stewart Burnett, son of an entrepreneur.

He’s my hero.

Nothing is so inspiring to me as paving your own path, taking on the world and making life as you want it to be.

Entrepreneurs are the engine of society. They enrich us all by coming up with great ideas, providing services that meet our demands and doing so in a sustainable way.

For every entrepreneur who makes it, society is better off: we have a new good or service using the world’s scarce resources in a better, more efficient way than before.

Entrepreneurs are the beacons of sustainability. We need them to find the best combinations of resources to ensure our continued advancement and progress as a species.

I work in journalism. My favourite interviews are with entrepreneurs. I idolize them. In my personal life, I’m surrounded by them.

Ideas are easy. Putting it together and making it profitable is much harder.

Canadian Entrepreneur is my way of gathering information on how to do that. It’s also a way to champion the pioneers making our lives better right now.

How do you become an entrepreneur?

Find out with me.
